On LGBT and Manny Pacquio: A response to 11 tweets of Vice-Ganda

Manny Pacquiao vs Vice Ganda on LGBT same-sex marriage
Manny Pacquiao vs Vice Ganda on LGBT issues

In his Twitter account jose marie viceral @vicegandako, Vice Ganda lambasted Pacquiao for his remark on homosexual acts. Pacquiao said:
Ang ProLife Partylist defends the Filipino family. Visit our Facebook page.
“Common sense lang. Makakakita ka ba ng any animals na lalaki sa lalaki, babae sa babae? Mas mabuti pa yung hayop. Marunong kumilala kung lalaki, lalaki, o babae, babae. Kung lalaki sa lalaki, babae sa babae, eh mas masahol pa sa hayop ang tao.” (Translation: It’s only common sense. Would you see any species of animals who engage in male to male, female to female [sexual] relations? Animals, then, are better than humans [in that sense]. They know how to distinguish males from females. If people then engage in male to male, female to female relations, then they are worse than animals.) (Source: Inquirer.net)
In his tweets, Vice Ganda raised 15 points against Manny Pacquiao:
  1. The LGBT is a group of people. We are humans. But not animals. Though we're no saints we will pray for Manny Pacquiao. #PrayForMannyPacquiao #PrayForMannyPacquiao #LoveWins
  9. (Retweeted: Homosexuality is found in over 450 species. Homophobia is found in only one.)
  10. Manny may pinapasabi ang Santo Papa: "If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge."
  11. Patawarin nyo ko pero sa Diyos lang ako magpapahusga. Hindi sa boksingerong tumatakbo sa Senado na apat na beses lang pumasok sa Kongreso.
Our task now is to analyze each of these tweets to understand the minds of practicing homosexuals like Vice Ganda as they try to argue in defense of their chosen lifestyle, i.e. men having sex with men or women having sex with women.

1.a. The LGBT is a group of people. We are humans. But not animals.

Notice that Vice Ganda claims that LGBT are humans and not animals. Biologically speaking, humans are members of the animal kingdom. By making a distinction between humans and animals, Vice Ganda affirms that there is something in humans that distinguishes them from animals.

Humans are classified by Carolus Linnaeus as Homo Sapiens. According to the Online Etymological Dictionary:
Homo sapiens (n.)
the genus of human beings, 1802, in William Turton's translation of Linnæus, coined in Modern Latin from Latin homo "man" (technically "male human," but in logical and scholastic writing "human being;" see homunculus) + sapiens, present participle of sapere "be wise" (see sapient).
sapient (adj.)

"wise," late 15c. (early 15c. as a surname), from Old French sapient, from Latin sapientem (nominative sapiens), present participle of sapere "to taste, have taste, be wise," from PIE root *sep- (1) "to taste, perceive" (cognates: Old Saxon an-sebban "to perceive, remark," Old High German antseffen, Old English sefa "mind, understanding, insight").
So perhaps, what distinguishes humans from animals is wisdom--in having a good taste in different levels: the capacity to discriminate what is food from poison, plant from animal, wood from metal, friends from strangers, God from man. If we read the Old Testament, we can see that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob teaches the Israelites how to be wise at all levels, starting from the discriminating what is clean from unclean to what is holy from the profane. As the Lord said to Aaron:
You must be able to distinguish between what is sacred and what is profane, and between what is clean and what is unclean; and you must be able to teach the Israelites all the statutes that the LORD has given them through Moses.(Lv 10:10-11)
And to the Israelites Moses also said:
See, I am teaching you the statutes and ordinances as the LORD, my God, has commanded me, that you may observe them in the land you are entering to possess. Observe them carefully, for this is your wisdom and discernment in the sight of the peoples, who will hear of all these statutes and say, “This great nation is truly a wise and discerning people.” (Dt 4:5-6)
1.b. Though we're no saints we will pray for Manny Pacquiao. #PrayForMannyPacquiao #PrayForMannyPacquiao #LoveWins

When a man prays, he acknowledges that the being to whom his prayer is directed exists. So if a man prays to God, he acknowledges that God exists. And if a man prays to God for the sake of another man, the one who prays believes that this God can do something for this man who is the object of his prayer. Thus, if Vice Ganda asks us to pray with him for Manny Pacquiao, Vice Ganda acknowledges that God exists and that God can effect changes in Manny Pacquiao, e.g. change his heart. We assume that the God which Vice Ganda assumed to exist (even if he did not explicitly mentioned it) is the God as understood by Catholics, because Vice Ganda uses the word "saints."

Praying to God for others is a commendable act; you need not to be a canonized saint to do it. In fact, this is the mystery of the "Communion of the Saints," a phrase which we recite in the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed during Mass. We, the baptized who are still alive here on earth are considered saints or holy ones because Baptism makes us holy or sanctus or saints: we become adopted children of God. That is why Annanias referred to "holy ones" (literally, "saints") when he prayed to God regarding Saul/Paul: "Lord, I have heard from many sources about this man, what evil things he has done to your holy ones in Jerusalem" (Acts 9:13). The Catechism also says:
948 The term "communion of saints" therefore has two closely linked meanings: communion in holy things (sancta)" and "among holy persons (sancti)."

Sancta sanctis! ("God's holy gifts for God's holy people") is proclaimed by the celebrant in most Eastern liturgies during the elevation of the holy Gifts before the distribution of communion. The faithful (sancti) are fed by Christ's holy body and blood (sancta) to grow in the communion of the Holy Spirit (koinonia) and to communicate it to the world.
On one hand, the "Communion of Saints" can mean that we pray for each other here on earth. As Apostle James said:
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful. 17Elijah was a human being like us; yet he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain upon the land.k 18Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the earth produced its fruit.l (Jas 5:16-18)
On the other hand, "Communion of Saints" is the praying for one another that transcends space and time. We on earth are the Church Militant: we strive to be holy as we fight against temptations. We pray for the Souls in Purgatory, the Church Suffering, who cannot anymore help themselves, because the time for getting merits is over after death. We also pray to the Saints in heaven to help us here on earth and our loved ones in Purgatory. In Purgatory, souls are cleansed with fire from their sins, in the same as Isaiah's unclean lips were purged with burning embers from the altar:
Then I said, “Woe is me, I am doomed!* For I am a man of unclean lips, living among a people of unclean lips,d and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!” 6Then one of the seraphim flew to me, holding an ember which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7He touched my mouth with it. “See,” he said, “now that this has touched your lips,* your wickedness is removed, your sin purged.”  (Is 6:5-7)
When souls in Purgatory are fully cleansed of their sins, they go to heaven and in turn pray for us here on earth and those in Purgatory. The Communion of Saints is a wonderful mystery: all of us here on earth, in heaven, and in Purgatory should help each other go to heaven by praying for each other. So in this sense, I agree with Vice Ganda: we should pray for each other, especially for Manny Pacquiao.

2. May mga taong nakaattend lng ng prayer meeting at nakapagbasa lng ng bibliya higit pa sa Diyos ang turing sa sarili nila kung makapanghusga. (Translation: There are some people who just attended a prayer meeting and read the bible already treat themselves as more than God in judging others.)
Vice Ganda simulating sexual intercourse acts with men
Vice Ganda simulating sexual intercourse acts with men

In the Old Testament, God can be severe in his judgment against those who commit sodomy and adultery and His judgment is death:
If a man lies with a male as with a woman,k they have committed an abomination; the two of them shall be put to death; their bloodguilt is upon them.  (Lv 20:13)

If a man is discovered lying with a woman who is married to another, they both shall die, the man who was lying with the woman as well as the woman.i Thus shall you purge the evil from Israel. (Dt 22:22)
I am sure Manny Pacquiao did not ask for the death of those who comitted sodomy, i.e. men who lie with men as with a women. So in this sense, Manny has not treated himself as greater than God in giving judgments.

In the New Testatment, a similar case happened in the time of Christ: a woman was caught in adultery and the elders of Jerusalem brought the woman to Him for judgment. Christ, being true God and true Man, is the perfect interpreter of the Law. He said:
"Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8Again he bent down and wrote on the ground. 9And in response, they went away one by one, beginning with the elders. So he was left alone with the woman before him. 10Then Jesus straightened up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”d 11She replied, “No one, sir.” Then Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go, [and] from now on do not sin any more.”] (Jn 8:7-11)
Here "to condemn" is understood to be "to condemn to death". Christ did not condemn the woman to death because of her adultery, but He gave her a chance for repentance by telling her "from now on do not sin any more." For Christ came not for the righteous but for sinners:
"Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do. 13Go and learn the meaning of the words,‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.”(Mt 9:)
Christ is a healer. He heals not only the ailments of the body, but also the disfigurations of the soul due to sin. That is why he offer sinners a chance for repentance. After death, there is no more a chance to repent, and the soul of the sinner will be sent to hell to suffer forever. As Christ said:
"And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna." (Mt 10:28)
If Christ can forgive the woman caught in adultery, He can also forgive those who commit sodomy. He can do this through the ministry of the priests and the sacrament of Confession. As Christ said when He appeared to His apostles:
“Receive the holy Spirit. 23* n Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained." (Jn 20:22-23)
After a sinner confesses his sins, the priest will provide the absolution and penance. The penance can be a simple as praying three Hail Mary's or as difficult as abandoning the homosexual lifestyle entirely. Attending prayer meetings and reading the Bible can also be forms of penance. A sinner who has strayed from his path like a lost sheep needs to listen to the voice of the shepherd and takes steps towards Him. Those little steps are the purpose of penance.

3. Ang pagpatol sa parehong kasarian ay masahol pa sa hayup? E ang pakikiapid habang ika'y may asawa anung kababuyan ito? Pakisagot Manny!(To have sexual intercourse with people with the same sex as you is worse than animals? What about having sexual intercourse with other women while you are married to your wife? What pig-like behavior is this? Please answer, Manny!)

As we discussed in Point 2, adultery and sodomy are both equal before God: they are punishable by death in the Old Testament. These are mortal sins which can send those who practice them into hell. Christ may not have condemned to death the woman caught in adultery, but He also asks her to go and sin no more. And He will surely do the same thing to the man caught in sodomy.

Vice Ganda uses the metaphor of a pig for those who commit adultery. This shows that Vice Ganda still knows the difference between a human being and an animal as we showed in Point 1.a. There is a behavior befitting a human being and a behavior befitting a pig. The only problem is that Vice Ganda does not also classify sodomy as a behavior also befitting of a pig and not of a human being.

One of the distinguishing behavior of pigs is their undiscriminating tastes. They eat fruits, vegetables, meat, and even their crap:
At the very heart of it all is the fact that pigs eat poo. Good for them! Quite frankly, that’s a solid evolutionary move: They won’t find much competition for the stuff. It’s a bad idea, though, if you’re looking to make friends among humans. In the Near East, an area not exactly known for its expansive forests (the pig’s ancestors were used to roaming among trees digging up tubers and hoovering up acorns), early domesticated swine kept to the cities, eating feces and garbage and the occasional human corpse. (Source: Wired)
For some reason, homosesexuals gravitate to where crap comes from: the anus. And some homosexuals lick and kiss the anus of another, even if there's a danger of getting the shit out of there. This homosexual intercourse is called anilingus:
This is different than a rimjob. A rimjob would, however, be a precursor to anilingus. It is the act of plunging one's tongue into the anal cavity of your sexual partner and then swirling and thrusting aforementioned tongue in an effort to make said partner happy.

It is well advised to wash the anus that is to be pleasured thoroughly (and perhaps even douche) before attempting this. (Urban Dictionary)
But if the tongue is not enough, there's the fist:
Fisting is the act or art of putting a fist in an ass or vigina, very popular practice among more evolved(kinky)gays. requires great care and huge amounts of lubrication. (Urban Dictionary)
Isn't this homosexual act on an asshole a pig-like behavioir? Anong kababuyan ito? Pakisagot sana, Vice Ganda.

But wait, there's more: some homosexuals even eat shit like pigs as a form of erotic sadomachistic behavior. This is called coprophagia:
Coprophagia is depicted in pornography, usually under the term scat (from scatology).[14]

The 120 Days of Sodom, a novel by the Marquis de Sade written in 1785, is replete with detailed descriptions of erotic sadomasochistic coprophagia.[15] Thomas Pynchon's award winning 1973 novel Gravity's Rainbow contains a detailed scene of coprophagia.[16] François Rabelais, in his classic Gargantua and Pantagruel, often employs the expression mâche-merde or mâchemerde, meaning shit-chewer. It is in turn a citation of the Greek comedians Aristophanes and particularly Menander, who often use the term skatophagos (σκατοϕάγος).[17] The Austrian actor and pornographic director Simon Thaur created the series "Avantgarde Extreme" and "Portrait Extrem", which explores coprophagy, coprophilia and urofagia. (Source: Wikipedia: coprophagia)
Anong kababuyan ito? Is this the ultimate fantasy of homosexuals? Pakisagot sana, Vice Ganda.
4.Manny, di ka namin mapipigil kung gusto mong husgahan ang mga bakla sa mundo. Siguraduhin mo lng na di ka namin makakasalubong sa impyerno. (Manny, we cannot prevent you if you want to judge the homosexuals of the world. But just be sure that we won't meet you in hell.)

Does Vice Ganda know that his homosexual lifestyle is dragging him to hell and he awaits Manny Pacquiao there? Or perhaps is his tweet a reminder that those who live lives in sin has no right to judge the sinfulness of others?

It is true that Christ said that we must not judge others:
“Stop judging,* that you may not be judged.b 2For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you.c 3Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove that splinter from your eye,’ while the wooden beam is in your eye? 5You hypocrite,* remove the wooden beam from your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from your brother’s eye." (Mt 7:1-5)
But Christ's words are more of a warning than an absolute rule. What is the reason why we must not judge others? The answer is so that we may not be judged in the same way, for "the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you."

In order to prevent people from having judgment paralysis, of being incapable of knowing what God wants, God in the Old Testament appointed judges. Moses is the first Judge, then he delegated his task to other Israelites, upon the advice of his father-in-law Jethrow who saw Moses judging cases of the people from morning till night. Jethro said to Moses:
"Now, listen to me, and I will give you some advice, and may God be with you. Act as the people’s representative before God, and bring their disputes to God. 20Enlighten them in regard to the statutes and instructions, showing them how they are to conduct themselves and what they are to do. 21But you should also look among all the people for able and God-fearing men, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain, and set them over the people as commanders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties, and of tens.c 22Let these render decisions for the people in all routine cases. Every important case they should refer to you, but every lesser case they can settle themselves. Lighten your burden by letting them bear it with you! 23If you do this, and God so commands you,* you will be able to stand the strain, and all these people, too, will go home content.” (Ex 18:19-23)
In the New Testament, God made the Apostles as the Judges of the New Israel, the Church:
Then Peter said to him in reply, “We have given up everything and followed you. What will there be for us?” 28* n Jesus said to them, “Amen, I say to you that you who have followed me, in the new age, when the Son of Man is seated on his throne of glory, will yourselves sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." (Mt 19:27-28
Since the apostles died, the task of governing and judging the Church rests on the spiritual descendants of the apostles: the bishops. The bishops receive their authority from the laying of hands, as what happened to Timothy (2 Tim 1:6). The successor of Peter is the Bishop of Rome, the Pope. For 2,000 years, the Pope and the bishops has ruled the church. In cases of dispute regarding doctrine, some bishops gather in an ecumenical council to judge between truth and falsehood. A summary of the teachings of these councils and of the popes is given in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. With the Catechism and Scripture as a guide, a lay man can make reasonable judgments on whether certain actions are objectively evil or not.

Regarding homosexual acts, this is what the Catechism says:
2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity,141 tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered."142 They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.

2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God's will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord's Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.

2359 Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.
And in the New Testament, this is what St. Paul said:
Do you not know that the unjust will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers nor boy prostitutes* nor sodomites 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11That is what some of you used to be; but now you have had yourselves washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.d
As you can see, the Catholic Church has already made a judgement on the homosexual acts: those who commit such acts, unless they repent before their death, will go to hell. The Catholic faithful who only repeats such eternal truths handed on to the apostles by Christ Himself is not being judgmental by his own opinion, but only obedient. As Peter and the Apostles told the religious leaders of Jerusalem who prohibited them in teaching about Christ:
"We must obey God rather than men." (Acts 5:29)
5. Ang kailangan sa Senado ay mga bihasa sa pulitika, sa batas, sa ekonomiya. Hindi mga bulaang propeta. (Translation: What we need in the Senate are those who are experts in politics, law, and economics, and not false prophets.)

Yes, I agree with Vice-Ganda. We really need in the Senate experts in politics, in law, and in economics. But on top of these, we also need senators who strive to live moral lives, even if at times they fall short of it. Knowledge can be terrifying in the hands of evil men. Just read the lives of dictators, corrupt officials, and mad scientists. It's amazing how much they can destroy in one lifetime and many lifetimes after theirs. As Mark Anthony said in Caesar's funeral:
The evil that men do lives after them;
The good is oft interred with their bones; 1620
So let it be with Caesar. (Julius Caesar, Act III, Scene 2)

What is a false prophet? A prophet is a person who speaks the words of God. A false prophet speaks his own views, which are usually opposite to what God wants. An example of this is the story of Jeremiah and the false prophet Hananiah:
After Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke bar off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah: 13Go tell Hananiah this: Thus says the LORD: By breaking a wooden yoke bar, you make an iron yoke! 14For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: A yoke of iron I have placed on the necks of all these nations serving Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and they shall serve him; even the wild animals I have given him.b 15And Jeremiah the prophet said to Hananiah the prophet: Listen to this, Hananiah! The LORD has not sent you, and you have led this people to rely on deception. 16For this, says the LORD, I am sending you from the face of the earth; this very year you shall die, because you have preached rebellion against the LORD.c 17Hananiah the prophet died in that year, in the seventh month. (Jer 28:12-17)
God has already spoken against homosexual acts through his prophets and apostles. To speak against God's words in the Bible by affirming the homosexual lifestyle is to be a false prophet. Instead of saying the words of our Father in heaven, the false prophet will preach the words of the Father of Lies:
If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and am here; I did not come on my own, but he sent me.z 43Why do you not understand what I am saying? Because you cannot bear to hear my word. 44You belong to your father the devil and you willingly carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks in character, because he is a liar and the father of lies.a 45But because I speak the truth, you do not believe me. (Jn 8:42-45)
6. Manny maganda yung pagattend mo sa mga prayer meeting mo. Pero di masama kung umattend ka din sana noon sa kongreso. (Translation: Manny, it is good that you attend in your prayer meetings. But it is also not bad if you also attend the Congress sessions before.)

I agree with Vice Ganda: Manny should have done his duties in the Congress by participating in many of the sessions. But sometimes, not participating in the sessions is also a political strategy in order to prevent a quorum, so that an unwanted bill may not be passed. This only works if you have allies who will do the same to kill or delay the bill. But this strategy may backfire if those who support the bill finds a quorum and decides to elevate the bill to the next level.

But if we use another metric, such as the number of bills filed, Manny Pacquiao has filed 13 bills and 2 resolutions. Contrast this to the output of Pres. Noynoy Aquino when he was still a congressman: 5 bills and 2 resolutions.

Yes, a man must always pray. But different vocations in life have different demands in prayer time. The monks and nuns would pray several times per day using the Liturgy of the Hours, but a husband and wife may just pray the rosary together once per day, because they are not bound to a particular religious vow and way of life. Politicians who are busy really need to set aside regular prayer times that would not affect their duties. An example would be Angelus every six hours and the 3 o'clock habit. But one politician--a king actually--attended mass three times a day:
Raynaldus records of St. Louis of France that he was in the habit of hearing two, three, sometimes even four Masses daily. His courtiers murmured at this, saying it was not right for the King to spend all the morning at prayer in the chapel instead of attending to state affairs and leaving Mass to the clergy. The King, hearing what they said, answered: "I wonder that you should complain of my hearing Mass, for not one of you would think me to blame if I spent twice as much time in hunting or playing dice." (Martin von Cochem)

7. Link: "Win Gatchalian to Pacquiao: Science magazine says animals exhibit homosexuality".

Let us assume for the sake of argument that animals exhibit homosexuality. So should humans follow animals then? Should humans make animals the standards of their moral conduct? The ancient peoples did this and worshipped animals as gods.  For this reason, God in the Old Testament forbade the making of idols. As written in the First Commandment:
I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt,b out of the house of slavery. 3You shall not have other gods beside me.* 4You shall not make for yourself an idolc or a likeness of anything* in the heavens above or on the earth below or in the waters beneath the earth; 5you shall not bow down before them or serve them.d For I, the LORD, your God, am a jealous God, inflicting punishment for their ancestors’ wickedness on the children of those who hate me, down to the third and fourth generation*; 6but showing love down to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments. (Ex 20:2-6)
You become what you worship. If you worship cats, you dress like a cat and think that you are really a cat. If you worship dogs, you mate like dogs, taking on multiple sexual partners in a week or even in a single day. If you worship pigs, you are always hot, so you seek to cool down by burying yourself in filth and eat shit from an asshole in an erotic sadomachistic orgy. And if you worship a praying mantis, you share a last supper with your mate, decapitate his dickhead, and eat him for the rest of the year to consummate your love as one body, as what happened in Cannibal Cafe.
Looking for a willing volunteer, Meiwes posted an advertisement on the website The Cannibal Cafe (a blog site for people with cannibal fetishes). Meiwes's post stated that he was "looking for a well-built 18- to 30-year-old to be slaughtered and then consumed."[2] Bernd Jürgen Armando Brandes, an engineer from Berlin, then answered the advertisement....The two made a videotape when they met on 9 March 2001 in Meiwes's home in the small town of Rotenburg, showcasing Meiwes amputating Brandes's penis and the two men attempting to eat the penis together before Brandes's ultimate demise. Brandes had insisted that Meiwes attempt to bite his penis off. This did not work and ultimately, Meiwes used a knife to remove Brandes's penis. Brandes apparently tried to eat some of his own penis raw, but could not because it was too tough and, as he put it, "chewy". Meiwes then fried the penis in a pan with salt, pepper, wine and garlic; he then fried it with some of Brandes's fat but by then it was too burned to be consumed. He then chopped it up into chunks and fed it to his dog.[1]

According to court officials who saw the video (which has not been made public), Brandes may already have been too weakened from the blood loss to eat any of his penis. Meiwes read a Star Trek book[specify] for three hours, while Brandes lay bleeding in the bath. Meiwes gave him large quantities of alcohol and pain killers, twenty sleeping pills and a bottle of schnapps,[citation needed] kissed him and finally killed him in a room that he had built in his house for this purpose, the Slaughter Room.[citation needed] After stabbing Brandes to death in the throat, he hung the body on a meat hook and tore chunks of flesh from it. He tried to grind the bones to use as flour.[citation needed] The incident was recorded on the two-hour video tape. Meiwes ate the body over the next 10 months, storing body parts in his freezer under pizza boxes and consuming up to 20 kilograms (44 lb) of the flesh. According to prosecutors, Meiwes committed the act for sexual enjoyment.[5]
Gruesome, isn't it? Bestial.

That is why God sent His Only Begotten Son into the world to teach human beings how to behave like truly human beings and save them from their sins:
Have among yourselves the same attitude that is also yours in Christ Jesus,*6Who,* though he was in the form of God,d did not regard equality with God something to be grasped.* 7Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, coming in human likeness;* and found human in appearance,e 8he humbled himself,f becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross.* (Phil 2:5-8)
When tempted by Satan in the desert after fasting for 40 days and 40 nights, Jesus did not use his divinity to banish Satan. Rather, Jesus showed us humans the way to fight the devil: fasting, prayer, and meditation on the Word of God.

But Christ is not only truly Man but also truly God. So if we worship Christ, we not only become better human beings, but also more like him as adopted sons and daughters of God. Our moral standard are not those of animals who live only by their instincts; rather, our moral standard is that of God. As Christ said:
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect. (Mt 5:48)

8. Sino kayang magigiting na kandidato ang maninindigan at iwawasto ang mapangahas at mapanghusgang mga salita ni Manny Pacquiao? (Translation: Who are the courageous candidates who will stand and correct the rash and judgmental words of Manny Pacquiao?)

There are already many of them coming out of their political closets and declare their support for the LGBT and denounce the words of Manny Pacquiao. I shall not anymore name them, so that I don't give them undue publicity, because in politics and showbiz, there is no such thing as bad publicity: what is important for them is that they are always on top of mind of the masses. But you can see their posters in Facebook and Twitter if you follow the right hashtags regarding Manny Pacquiao and LGBT.

But I think their getting out of their political closets in support of LGBT same-sex marriage agenda is an act not of courage but of cowardice, for who would dare fight against the powerful and influential LGBT lobby? The LGBT ideologues already penetrated the government, media, schools, and business establishments. And no one can do business with them unless one has the mark of LGBT's rainbow. Nike already dropped sponsorship of Pacquiao, because of the latter's remarks against homosexuals. Perhaps, we are truly in the Last Times and the Mark of the Beast is LGBT (c.f. Rv 13:17)

But one person dared to fight the LGBT same-sex marriage agenda and that is Manny Pacquiao, the People's Champ. He is a simple man, a man from the masses. He represents what the ordinary Filipino thinks regarding homosexual acts:
“As Christian, bawal naman ‘yung same-sex marriage. Ginawa ang babae para sa lalaki, ginawa ang lalaki para sa babae (As a Christian, same-sex marriage is not allowed. Woman was made for man, man was made for woman),” he said.

“Kasi para sa akin ito lang, common sense lang. Makakita ka ba ng any animals na lalaki sa lalaki o babae sa babae? Mas mabuti pa ‘yung hayop. Marunong kumikilala, kung lalaki o lalaki, babae, babae. (For me, it’s common sense. Will you see any animals where male is to male and female is to female? The animals are better. They know how to distinguish, male or female).”

“Ngayon kung lalaki sa lalaki, babae sa babae, mas masahol pa sa hayop ang tao (If we approve male on male, female on female, then man is worse than animal).”

“O ‘di ba? Hayop lang… hindi talaga pwedeng magsama ang lalaki sa lalaki, pero I’m not condemning them. ‘Yung marriage lang, ‘yung committing sin against God (Right? Even among animals… those of the same sex are not allowed to lie together. But I’m not condemning them. Just the marriage, the committing of sin against God).”(Source: Interaksyon)
Where are the wise of this world? For politicians trying to appear wise in support of LGBT agenda, they have become fools. Jesus prayed:
I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. 26Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will. (Mt 11:25-26

9. Retweeted: "Homosexuality is found in over 450 species. Homophobia is found in only one."
Vice Ganda said in Point 1: "The LGBT is a group of people. We are humans. But not animals." And we showed that humans are members of the animal kingdom with scientific name "homo sapiens," because they are wise for having discriminating tastes not only when it comes to food, but also when it comes to morals, by distinguishing what is clean from unclean and holy from profane. So if homosexuality is found in over 450 species of animals, what distinguishes humans from animals? Can it be homophobia?

Let's look at the definitions of homophobic, homosexual, and phobia in the Online Etymology Dictionary:
homophobic (adj.)
by 1971, from homo- (2) "homosexual" + -phobia + -ic. Related: Homophobe; homophobia (which word is said to date from 1969).
homosexual
"homosexual person," by 1895, from homosexual (adj.). In technical use, either male or female; but in non-technical use almost always male. Slang shortened form homo attested by 1929.
1892, in C.G. Chaddock's translation of Krafft-Ebing's "Psychopathia Sexualis," from German homosexual, homosexuale (by 1880, in Gustav Jäger), from homo-, comb. form of Greek homos "same" (see homo- (1)) + Latin-based sexual.
"Homosexual" is a barbarously hybrid word, and I claim no responsibility for it. It is, however, convenient, and now widely used. "Homogenic" has been suggested as a substitute. [H. Havelock Ellis, "Studies in Psychology," 1897]
-phobia
word-forming element meaning "excessive or irrational fear of," from Latin -phobia and directly from Greek -phobia "panic fear of," from phobos "fear" (see phobia). In widespread popular use with native words from c. 1800. Related: -phobic.

Notice that the root "homo" in homo sapien (Latin for wise man) is not the same as that of the homosexual which is trans-language (since homosexuals now use the words trans-specie and and trans-gender) mongrel of Greek "homos" or "sameness" and Latin-based "sexual", i.e. "same-sex".

The term homophobic was invented by homosexuals in 1969 as a way to pejoratively label those who don't approve their homosexual lifestyle. By using the word phobia, they frame the aversion of the common man to their lifestyle as "excessive or irrational fear". But from the point of view of the common man, the homosexual lifestyle is actually a "homomania".

To understand the meaning of this new word "homomania", let's look at the meaning of mania and other sexual manias:
mania (n.)

late 14c., "mental derangement characterized by excitement and delusion," from Late Latin mania "insanity, madness," from Greek mania "madness, frenzy; enthusiasm, inspired frenzy; mad passion, fury," related to mainesthai "to rage, go mad," mantis "seer," menos "passion, spirit," all from PIE *men- (1) "to think, to have one's mind aroused, rage, be furious" (see mind (n.)). Sense of "fad, craze" is 1680s, from French manie in this sense. Sometimes nativized in Middle English as manye. Used since 1500s (in imitation of Greek) as the second element in compounds expressing particular types of madness (such as nymphomania, 1775; kleptomania, 1830; megalomania, 1890).

satyriasis (n.)

"excessively great venereal desire in the male," 1650s, medical Latin, from Greek satyriasis, from satyros (see satyr). Also in same sense satyromania (1889).

nymphomania (n.)
1775, in English translation of "Nymphomania, or a Dissertation Concerning the Furor Uterinus," by French doctor M.D.T. Bienville, coined from Greek nymphe "bride" (see nymph) + mania "madness" (see mania). Perhaps influenced by earlier French nymphomanie. Defined as "a female disease characterized by morbid and uncontrollable sexual desire." Compare also nympholepsy.
From these definitions, we may now propose the meaning of "homomania":

homomania (n.)
c. 2016, " a homosexual disease or mental derangement characterized by morbid and uncontrollable sexual desire for those of the same sex, accompanied by excessive excitement and delusion," from the Latin-Greek mongrel "homosexual" + mania "madness".
homomaniac (adj.)
c. 2016, pertaining to "homomania".
Those who have same-sex attactions and yet try live chaste lives are not homomaniacs. On the other hand, those with same-sex attractions who give in to their sexual cravings are homomaniacs.

10. Manny may pinapasabi ang Santo Papa: "If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge."

In my earlier blog post entitled, Evangelii Gaudium: 7 statements of Pope Francis on compassion, I wrote:

Art. 172 appears to be the key in Francis's often misquoted quote "who am I to judge?":
    172. One who accompanies others has to realize that each person’s situation before God and their life in grace are mysteries which no one can fully know from without. The Gospel tells us to correct others and to help them to grow on the basis of a recognition of the objective evil of their actions (cf. Mt 18:15), but without making judgments about their responsibility and culpability (cf. Mt 7:1; Lk 6:37). Someone good at such accompaniment does not give in to frustrations or fears. He or she invites others to let themselves be healed, to take up their mat, embrace the cross, leave all behind and go forth ever anew to proclaim the Gospel. Our personal experience of being accompanied and assisted, and of openness to those who accompany us, will teach us to be patient and compassionate with others, and to find the right way to gain their trust, their openness and their readiness to grow. (Evangelii Gaudium)
For Francis, compassion means we can only judge the objective evil in the person's actions, but not their responsibility or culpability.  This means for example, that we can judge the contraception, abortion, and homosexual acts as objective evil, but we cannot make a judgement on their intentions and motivations, unless these things are revealed to us by the person himself, and this revelation usually only happens in the Courts of Law or in the Sacrament of Confession.  Sin, for it to be mortal, requires three things: the subject must be a grave and serious matter, full knowledge, and complete consent.  If one of these is missing, the sin is not mortal.  A mad man, for example, has no full knowledge when he murders people.  As the Catechism explains: "2352...To form an equitable judgment about the subjects' moral responsibility and to guide pastoral action, one must take into account the affective immaturity, force of acquired habit, conditions of anxiety or other psychological or social factors that lessen, if not even reduce to a minimum, moral culpability."

11. Patawarin nyo ko pero sa Diyos lang ako magpapahusga. Hindi sa boksingerong tumatakbo sa Senado na apat na beses lang pumasok sa Kongreso.
I am sure Vice Ganda knows about the Supreme Court of the Philippines. The Supreme Court makes judgments on the legality and constitutionality of things. On the other hand, In matters of faith and morals, the Supreme Court is the Catholic Church with the pope at its head. In cases of dispute regarding doctrine, some bishops gather in an ecumenical council to make their judgment for the whole church. The first of such councils is the Council of Jerusalem which made a judgment on the question of the necessity of Jewish circumcision for salvation:
“The apostles and the presbyters, your brothers, to the brothers in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia of Gentile origin: greetings. 24Since we have heard that some of our number [who went out] without any mandate from us have upset you with their teachings and disturbed your peace of mind, 25we have with one accord decided to choose representatives and to send them to you along with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26who have dedicated their lives to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27So we are sending Judas and Silas who will also convey this same message by word of mouth: 28k ‘It is the decision of the holy Spirit and of us not to place on you any burden beyond these necessities, 29namely, to abstain from meat sacrificed to idols, from blood, from meats of strangled animals, and from unlawful marriage. If you keep free of these, you will be doing what is right. Farewell." (Acts 15:23-29)
So even if Vice Ganda does not wish to be judged by the Supreme Court or by the Catholic Church, he cannot do anything to reverse the judgments except to wail and gnash his teeth in the darkness (c.f. Mt 22:13).

Vice Ganda may not wish to be judged by Manny Pacquiao, even if Manny did not single out Vice Ganda, but only those who engage in homosexual acts and wishes to marry their partners. Yet Vice already made two judgments on Manny Pacquiao:
  • Vice describes Manny's marital infidelity as "kababuyan" or a pig-like behavior (Point 3)
  • Vice called Manny a "bulaang propeta" or a "false prophet" (c.f. Point 5)
One really has to be careful with one's words, with one's judgments, because God is just: He will use the same standard that you use for your fellow men in judging you. "With great power comes great resposibility," said Peter Parker's uncle in Spiderman movie. In the same way, we can say that with great knowledge comes harsher judgment. As Jesus said:
That servant who knew his master’s will but did not make preparations nor act in accord with his will shall be beaten severely;t 48and the servant who was ignorant of his master’s will but acted in a way deserving of a severe beating shall be beaten only lightly. Much will be required of the person entrusted with much, and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more. (Lk 12:47-48)

This is the reason why the disobedience of angels is so tragic: they fully know all the consequences of loving or disobeying God, and yet they choose to disobey Him. Thus, unlike men whose knowledge of limited and can sin repeatedly before they die and yet still merit heaven, the knowledge of angels is much more superior, so they only have to make one choice--to love God or not--and the rest of their existence is defined by this choice. As the Catechism says:
393 It is the irrevocable character of their choice, and not a defect in the infinite divine mercy, that makes the angels' sin unforgivable. "There is no repentance for the angels after their fall, just as there is no repentance for men after death."272
But since Vice Ganda and the homosexuals are humans and not angels, they can still repent of their sins and steal heaven before their death, just like the repentant thief at Jesus' side on the cross.

The last moment before our death will define if we are going to Heaven or Hell; those who go to Purgatory are assured that they will still go to heaven, except that they have to be purged first from their sins.  He "will be saved but only as through fire" (1 Cor 3:15). That is why the Catholic Church has the Sacrament of Anointing the Sick to strengthen the soul, as demons will try to snatch it away from God. If you live a righteous life all your life, most likely you will die in a state of grace, but you can still change your mind a minute before your death, curse God, and go to Hell. As God said to Prophet Ezekiel:
But if the wicked man turns away from all the sins he has committed, if he keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live. He shall not die! 22None of the crimes he has committed shall be remembered against him; he shall live because of the justice he has shown. 23j Do I find pleasure in the death of the wicked—oracle of the Lord GOD? Do I not rejoice when they turn from their evil way and live?

24And if the just turn from justice and do evil, like all the abominations the wicked do, can they do this evil and still live? None of the justice they did shall be remembered, because they acted treacherously and committed these sins; because of this, they shall die.k 25l You say, “The LORD’s way is not fair!”* Hear now, house of Israel: Is it my way that is unfair? Are not your ways unfair?  (Ez 18:21-25)
So let us repent of our sins while we still can.

Vice Ganda may wish to be judged by God, but this can be terrifying. As St. Paul said:
If we sin deliberately after receiving knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains sacrifice for sins 27but a fearful prospect of judgment and a flaming fire that is going to consume the adversaries.t 28Anyone who rejects the law of Moses* is put to death without pity on the testimony of two or three witnesses.u 29Do you not think that a much worse punishment is due the one who has contempt for the Son of God, considers unclean the covenant-blood by which he was consecrated, and insults the spirit of grace?v 30We know the one who said: “Vengeance is mine; I will repay,” and again: “The Lord will judge his people.”w 31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.x (Heb 10:26-31)
Indeed, it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. May God forgive Vice Ganda. He does not know what he is saying.
