August 21 is Ninoy Aquino day.  August 22 is the Feast of the Queenship of Mary.  If many join the August 26 rally enough to change Philippine history with the scrapping of the Pork Barrel and the prosecution of lawmakers involved in the Pork Barrel Scam, then August 26 would become another day to remember--a day when the little people, the hobbits, mustered enough courage to band together against Saruman's men.  As Merry said to Pippin:
Raise the Shire! Now! Wake all our people! They hate all this, you can see: all of them except perhaps one or two rascals, and a few fools that want to be important, but don't at all understand what is really going on.  But Shire-folk have been so comfortable so long they don't know what to do.  They just want a match, though, and they'll go up in fire.  The Chief's Men must know that.  They'll try to stamp on us and put us out quick.  We've only got a very short time. (The Scouring of the Shire, Lord of the Rings, p. 1013)
Saruman and Grima (from LotR wiki)
Who are Saruman's Men?

Farmer Cotton described them to Sam:
So things went from bad to worse.  There wasn't no smoke left, save for the Men; and the Chief didn't hold with beer, save for his men, and closed all the inns; and everything except Rules got shorter and shorter, unless one could hide a bit of one's own when the ruffians went round gathering stuff up "for fair distribution": which meant they got it and we didn't, except for the leavings which you could have at the Shirriff-houses, if you could stomach them.  All very bad.  But since Sharkey came it's been plain ruination. (The Scouring of the Shire, Lord of the Rings, p. 1013)
This is only what we know: the Philippine Congressmen and Senators worked on the Sin Tax Bill on December 2012 which took effect on January 2013.  As a result, gin and beer sales went down.  And those of tobacco went down, too.  Now, Congressmen and Senators are also getting a large part of our taxes for "fair distribution" which is the main purpose of the Pork Barrel under its official name, Priority Development Assistance Fund, with Senators getting Php 200 million and Congressmen Php 70 million.  but what many of these lawmakers did is to use a fake NGO of Janet Napoles with farmers as stated beneficiaries and make this NGO a receipient of the money.  Then the lawmakers divide the money among themselves. (Check out Inquirer's Infographic on PDAF.)

Who is the Chief?

PNoy always says, "Kayo ang Boss ko." (You are my chief.)  The People of the Republic of the Philippines are his boss. In the Shire, the old Chief of Bag End was Old Will the Mayor, but the new Chief had him arrested and sent to the lock holes.  The new chief is Lotho Pimple, Bilbo's cousin.  When Bilbo and Frodo left, Lotho took over.  As Farmer Cotton recalled:
It all began with Pimple, as we call him....and it began as soon as you'd gone off, Mr. Frodo.  He'd funny ideas, had Pimple.  Seems he wanted to own everything himself, and then order other folk about.  It soon came out that he already did own a sight of more than was good for him; and he was always grabbing more, though where he got the money was a mystery; mills and malt-houses and inns, and farms, and leaf-plantations.  He'd already bought Sandyman's mill before he came to Bag End, seemingly. (The Scouring of the Shire, The Lord of the Rings, p. 1012)
Well, just look at the organizational structure of Janet Lim-Napoles (JLN) Foundation and be amazed at all the 16 Foundations under it that were all founded supposedly for the good of hobbit farmers.

Who is Sharkey?

We don't know. We only know that PNoy dangled the PDAF before the Congressmen's eyes, forcing many of them to vote for the RH Bill or just simply abstain from voting.  If they don't follow as they were told to do, their Pork would not be released to them.  Remember the dialogue of Wormtongue and Saruman?
A look of wild hatred came into Wormtongue's red eyes.  'You told me to; you made me do it,' he hissed.
Saruman laughed. 'You do what Sharkey says, always, don't you, Worm?  Well, now he says: follow!' He kicked Wormtongue in the face as he grovelled, and turned and made off. (The Scouring of the Shire, The Lord of the Rings, p. 1020.
Maybe you know the ending.  It's not in the movies.

Perhaps, PNoy is not really Saruman the Wise.  He is more like Grima the Wormtongue, adviser of Theoden King of Rohan. Like Grima, PNoy used his eloquence to spell bind his boss, the Filipino people, in order to make them accept the RH Law as lobbied by the US, the UN, and other Non-Government Organizations like Planned Parenthood who promote the use of contraceptives in the Philippines.  These institutions and organizations hold the Philippine economy hostage.  Imagine all the millions of dollars of investments that the country will have if PNoy simply bows down to their wishes.  And the Philippines will be glorious like Minas Tirith of Gondor:
Minas Anor again as of old, full of light, high and fair, beautiful as a queen among other queens: not a mistress of many slaves, nay, not even a kind mistress of willing slaves. (The Window on the West, The Lord of the Rings, pp. 671-672)
Didn't Satan, the Prince of this World, made a similar offer to Our Lord in the desert? As St. Paul reminds us:
For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens. Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground.
Let us pray that the gathering on August 26 be a peaceful one.  Mary, Queen of Peace, pray for us.
